Summary |
The rapid growth of wireless communication traffic, especially from smartphones, has increased the demand for limited frequency resources, causing congestion and interference issues. Efficient frequency allocation and improving communication quality are key challenges in wireless technology. In the Beyond 5G/6G era, millimeter-wave-based cooperative communication offers a promising solution. This method enables devices to collaborate and form a virtual large-scale MIMO system, enhancing resource utilization and communication efficiency. Unlike traditional systems where terminals directly communicate with Base Station (BS), this model allows multi-terminal collaboration, boosting channel capacity with more antennas.
This study evaluates inter-terminal access control in millimeter-wave cooperative systems, focusing on how simple access control affects the number of cooperating terminals and system performance. |
