Summary |
This work considers the up-link of an indoor optical wireless communication system consisting of multiple transmitters and a base station receiver. The system employs multi-user Multi-Input Multi-Output as it multiple-access scheme. Each transmitter uses a light-emitting diode (LED) array placed near the floor, while the base station receiver has multiple photodetector (PD) arrays on the ceiling. In this work, we propose introducing angle diversity for both the transmitter LED array and the receiver PD array to support user mobility by reducing inter-user interference. The numerical examples by simulation show that the proposed method achieves good bit error rates in most locations of the transmitters. |
