| Summary |
This study investigates an indoor data acquisition system using optical wireless code-division multiple access (CDMA) technology. In order to overcome the near-far problem of CDMA, this system features a receiver configuration based on multiple photodetectors (PDs). We propose a new approach to select the best PD for each tramsmitter. The obtained results show that the receiver employing our proposed method outperforms the one that uses the conventional diversity technique, especially in the case of a small number of transmitters. |
