| Summary |
This study considers to realize indoor data collection systems using an optical wireless code-division multiple access (CDMA) technology. Multiple transmitters independently and asynchronously send their data to a base station (BS) receiver located on a ceiling. In CDMA systems, due to the near-far problem that caused by the variation of propagation path length between each transmitter and the BS, communication performance may degrade. To solve this problem, we propose a receiver design that combines hard limiters (HLs) and successive interference cancellers (SICs). The results show that the proposed receiver can more significantly improve the performance than the receivers using HLs or SICs independently. |
