Energy harvesting wireless sensor network-
s (WSNs) have sufficient energy to provide longer active time and better quality of service than battery powered WSNs. The aim of our research is to improve quality of service of energy harvesting WSNs. We want to solve a problem called “time-related deterioration.” So we use mutual information to evaluate data transmission and propose an intermittent transmission method to solve the problem. Our pervious works have proven the validity of our proposed method. In this paper, we improve the research model by considering packet losses which are widely exist in the reality. We discuss the impact of packet losses on system performance and our proposed method by one node and two node case. |
