| Summary |
We propose a new performance evaluation scale "Valueput" that takes into consideration not only the amount of information transmitted in a certain time but also the freshness of information (or time from occurrence to arrival, Age of Information). As an example of a wireless sensor network that collects information from multiple sensors, we clarify the system performance and the optimum parameters based on both the conventional throughput that focuses only on the amount of information and the valueput with the consideration of information freshness.
