| Summary |
Digital signage requires to provide not only visual
information but also data information using wireless communications with smart devices for various applications. We focus on image-sensor-based visible light communication (IS-VLC) systems. We proposed the digital signage IS-VLC system focusing on human visual characteristics and evaluated its performance for the case that still images are used as visual information. In this paper, we evaluate deterioration of communication quality by using motion video for visual information. From the experimental results, we show that the bit error rate of the digital signage IS-VLC system can be achieved below 0.1 although the signal intensity becomes large. |
