| Summary |
WSNs (wireless sensor networks) enable us to achieve efficient agricultural supports by monitoring growth conditions of crops. Among biological information of crops, the leaf temperature is important to estimate transpiration and photosynthesis activities. For efficient collection of leaf temperature in the whole fame, we use both drones and sensor nodes. The drones sense the leaf temperature all over a farm from the sky. The sensor nodes are placed in a farm field, and periodically sense the leaf temperature on the ground. The data sensed by the sensor nodes plays the role of ground truth against that sensed by the drones. The sensor nodes are required for the operation that coordinates with drones nodes. In this study, we propose nodes' operation of wireless sensor networks using drones for precision agriculture. |
