This paper will give a new view of putting use of information theory to analyze and optimize data transmission between nodes and sink in the energy harvesting wireless sensor networks. The mutual information of nodes’ and sink’s data means the information sink have about nodes would be decreased as time pass because of periodical data transmission. So we choose mutual information to be our evaluation factor. And the paper will show our proposed intermittent transmission method can mitigate the time-related deterioration of information at sink side. |
