| Summary |
Wireless sensor networks use energy harvesting technology and energy saving strategy to prolong sensors' life-time. It has been proven that sensors' lifetime is effectively increased by combining these two sides in extensive literature. This paper attempts to propose a novel viewpoint for energy harvested wireless sensor networks. We intend to use intermit-tent transmission method and introduce the mutual infor-mation between the node and sink to evaluate time-related deterioration of information which the sink has. In addition, we propose a transmission method for two node case, which can take advantage of spatial correlation between different nodes' data to mitigate the time-related deterioration of information at the sink side. |
